Job Title: Bench Jeweler/Sizer
Hours: 7am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) OT expected
MUST HAVE:
# 1) Good vision- must have glasses or corrective lenses if not
good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
# 2) No long nails- Can not perform work with long nails.
# 3) Will work long hours
Position Summary:
The Bench Jeweler within the Sizing Department is responsible for fabricating metal as well as altering and soldering rings per customer instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews work order materials to ensure consistency between the product and the customer’s order.
Applies the correct pricing for the tasks required per the work order.
Bends and manipulates metal into desired shape and size per work instructions.
Assembles rings together using torches and soldering equipment.
Uses a broad range of established tools such as hand tools, rotary tools, and magnifying instruments.
Monitors the quality of incoming metals and materials to meet production standards and flags any product that does not meet those standards.
Ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all operations.
Learns additional skills and tasks required by other roles within the sizing department.
Maintains clean working environment in line with company expectations
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:

Role Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma preferred and 1 year of technical or vocational training in machining or metalworking is preferred
Computer Skills: Basic Computer Literacy required
