Senior Helpers is hiring caregivers for OVERNIGHTS! We are looking for a dedicated person to work overnight for our wonderful clients in need of care and support. Caregivers on this shift typically provide companionship and conversation, medication reminders, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming) and any other care needs that may need to be met throughout the evening. Experience in these areas is preferred but not required as we provide training prior to your first shift! We offer FREE Home Care Aide (HCA) training and testing ON-SITE and you get paid additionally we offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus after requirment are met! Already credentialed, you may be eligible for our $1,000 sign-on bonus after requirements are met! Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.50/hour with various differentials offered.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Caregiver credential (Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) 1163 exempt), OR:
• Willingness to complete 10-day training and testing program to become certified
• Dementia experience highly preferred for this client
• Kind, compassionate, and caring demeanor
• Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
• Great communication with staff and clients
• Pass a background and fingerprint check
• Your own vehicle, current license and insurance
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities:

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies and interests
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, bathing, and other daily activities of living
• Assist with any needs as they prepare for bed.
• Assist with needs through out the evening as they arise.
• Assist with morning routines as needed.
• Report and document activities completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ status
