The role reports into a senior portfolio manager with a 15 year track record. Responsibilities The position will focus on performing research and analysis on potential Long/Short equity investing opportunities, monitoring existing positions, and assisting in the overall management of the hedge fund's strategy. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team that includes financial statement analysis, industry research, and company-specific due diligence. Responsibilities of the role include assisting in the development and implementation of equity investing strategies, preparing and presenting investment recommendations to the investment team and providing timely updated on changes in the investment thesis.
