About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Graduate Medical Education (GME) to join their educational leadership team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate Dean for GME to provide leadership, establishment, oversight, and administration of ACGME-accredited programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, and the Executive Director will be an expert on ACGME institutional and program-level requirements. Responsibilities include providing educational strategies to meet regulatory standards, educating GME stakeholders, and leading continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Executive Director will also be involved in the development of institution-wide policies, budget management, and the implementation of new GME sites and programs. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of full-time experience in educational program development and administration, with a focus on GME. A strong background in ACGME accreditation, process improvement, and medical education is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in data-driven quality improvement processes, a successful track record as a leader in a complex organizational environment, and experience with managing multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft programs and web-based data systems is required, as is extensive experience with ACGME applications. The role demands a candidate who is adept at working with diverse members of the academic community and who can effectively lead a highly accountable work environment.
