Job Title: EPIC Trainer - Go-Live Support (Contract) Location: Rhode Island (Multiple Facilities - Onsite) Contract Length: ~90 Days Start Date: Mid-August 2025 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with select weekend sessions as needed) Job Description: Sigma Systems is seeking experienced EPIC Trainers to support a major EPIC implementation and go-live for one of our Health Care Clients. This role involves delivering instructor-led and at-the-elbow training to clinical and non-clinical users across multiple departments. Ideal candidates will have recent hands-on experience delivering EPIC training or supporting end-users during EMR go-lives. EPIC certification is highly preferred but not required. Candidates must be confident communicators, adaptable to changing training environments, and skilled in coaching users at varying levels of technical comfort. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate in-person EPIC training sessions for clinicians and non-clinical staff Provide one-on-one and small group coaching during go-live and ramp-up phases Support end users in real-time as they learn to navigate workflows and system features Troubleshoot user issues and escalate as needed to IT or clinical support Reinforce best practices for documentation, scheduling, orders, or other workflows Maintain accurate records of training progress and attendance Collaborate with internal IT, clinical educators, and project managers on training delivery Required Qualifications: 1+ year of recent hands-on experience training or supporting EPIC end users Experience in a clinical, IT, or administrative setting within a healthcare environment Strong understanding of EPIC workflows in at least one module (Ambulatory, Inpatient, ClinDoc, Cadence, etc.) Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills Ability to lead groups confidently and simplify complex topics Availability for full 90-day contract and occasional weekend hours Preferred Qualifications: EPIC Credentialed Trainer (CT) Certification or Verified Super User experience Prior participation in a full-cycle EPIC implementation or go-live Experience training both clinical and non-clinical staff Familiarity with Rhode Island or Northeast regional healthcare systems To Apply: Submit your resume and include a brief summary of your EPIC training experience, modules supported, and your availability for August-October 2025.
