1、Compliance Management
Ensure adherence to U.S. federal/state EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA), manage permit applications, and coordinate government inspections.
2、System Development
Establish and maintain EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 45001/14001), and drive internal audits and improvements.
3、Risk Prevention and Control
Lead safety and environmental risk assessments (PSM/PHA), and develop engineering/managerial control measures.
4、Safety Management
Work injury prevention (monitoring TRIR/DART metrics), accident investigation, and safety training (e.g., HAZWOPER, LOTO).
5、Environmental Management
Pollutant emission control, hazardous waste compliant disposal (RCRA), and energy/resources conservation.
6、Emergency Response
Develop emergency plans, manage emergency equipment, and organize cross-departmental drills and external coordination.
7、Project and Contractor Management
Review EHS compliance for new projects, and supervise contractors’ safe operations and qualification assessments.
8、Occupational Health
Monitor occupational hazards (dust/noise/chemicals), and promote ergonomic improvements and health examinations.
9、Communication and Collaboration
Coordinate EHS matters across departments, report performance to management, and liaise with government and communities.
