Andrea McDonough - State Farm Agency, located in Boone, NC, is hiring a motivated and people-oriented professional whos ready to launch a career in the insurance industry. No prior experience is required if youre coachable, driven, and ready to grow, well help you get licensed and trained to succeed.

This is an entry-level, full-time, in-office opportunity with the potential to become a licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent. If you're looking for a career with strong earning potential, job stability, and a meaningful impact on people's lives, we want to hear from you.

What Were Looking For:
Were seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves talking to people, and is excited to build long-term relationships with clients. If youve been in retail, sales, customer service, or another people-facing role and youre ready for a real career path this could be your next big step.

What You'll Do:

• Connect with new and existing clients to understand their insurance needs
• Develop insurance quotes and present life insurance solutions
• Build strong relationships through consistent follow-up and client support
• Network and grow referral opportunities within the community
• Maintain detailed records and follow compliance procedures
• Actively pursue required licensing (Life & Health, and P&C if not already held)

We Provide:

• Base Salary plus Bonus and 1st year Commission
• Paid Time Off - for personal time and holidays
• Outstanding preparation if you aspire to be a State Farm agent in the future

You Bring:

• Willingness and ability to obtain NC Life & Health insurance license (required before start date)
• Property & Casualty license a plus, or willingness to get it
• 12 years of sales, retail, or customer service experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence and comfort speaking with people over the phone and in person
• Dependability, integrity, and a drive to succeed
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
• Must work in-office at our Boone, NC location (this is not a remote role)
