Prez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or a candidate who has taken the California Bar Exam and is awaiting results. You will gain immediate litigation experience and the opportunity to develop a specialty in workers compensation law with mentorship and training from experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers compensation claims, including hearings, trials, depositions, and settlements.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and medical providers.
• Analyze medical and legal records to support case development.
• Collaborate with case managers and legal assistants.
• Participate in negotiations and mediations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California, or awaiting California Bar results.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Apple technology and case management software (MerusCase or FileVine preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly valued.
