About this role: As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistant (PA) in Emergency Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You would work at Holy Rosary Hospital, a Level 4 Trauma Center, in Miles City, MT. Mix of day/night 12-hour shifts in the ED practicing as the sole provider. Resource connections with St. Vincent Regional Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, and other Intermountain Health hospitals. General surgeon with full surgical team on call 24/7. What you’ll bring: An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board. Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific). Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience as a provider in Emergency Medicine preferred but open to new grad Emergency Nurse Practitioners. Passion for rural Emergency Medicine. About us.
