Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support both elementary and high school students. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention within a school setting in Newark, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in elementary and high school.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being and academic success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with elementary and high school populations.
• Strong knowledge of child development, assessment tools, and special education laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team environment.
