Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour, D.O.E.

Do you enjoy helping people? We are seeking dedicated and hardworkingMovers to join our team, specializing in disaster recovery and mitigation. In this critical role, you will help restore properties affected by disasters by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and belongings. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles, with a focus on disaster recovery efforts.
• Assist in packing and wrapping items to prevent damage during transport or while handling in recovery scenarios.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, particularly during disaster response.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols throughout all tasks, especially during disaster recovery.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
• Assist in moving items to and from disaster sites and ensure that proper mitigation steps are followed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, disaster recovery, or mitigation is preferred.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in similar roles involving heavy lifting and/or disaster recovery is advantageous.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items regularly.
• Ability to work in stressful and sometimes emergency environments.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Drivers License is required.

Work Days & Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with some weekends as needed for disaster recovery response.
• Flexible schedule with paid training.

Compensation:

• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
