Ferguson is currently seeking 1st Shift Warehouse Equipment Operators for our Lebanon, TN distribution center! If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and/or receiving, coupled with a dedication to quality, this is the position for you! Responsibilities include operating powered industrial equipment such as stand-up forklifts in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures, accurately picking product quantities or storing product in assigned locations, assembling containers and maintaining supplies in an organized manner, effectively communicating with associates and displaying teamwork, maintaining inventory integrity and product safety, executing tasks using hand-held RF units/scanners and/or voice devices, following all established standard operating procedures, accurately sorting, labeling, and storing picked product safely, participating in associate meetings and communicating concerns to management, and performing all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies. Qualifications include prior experience in putaway, picking, and/or loading preferred, strong work ethic, material handling equipment experience preferred but not required, ability to work at heights up to 30 feet, ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs, comfortable standing and/or walking for up to 12 hours, and ability to work overtime hours as needed. Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
