Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing inquiries related to logistics, pricing, and our processes while utilizing basic transportation management systems. Your expertise in phone etiquette and data entry will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding logistics, pricing, and processes.
• Use dispatch management system to manage customer orders and track container drop, pick up's and switch's.
• Process data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date record and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with other employees to coordinate driver movements and resolve any issues that may arise during the regular process.
• Provide information on schedules, delivery times, and product availability to customers.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to logistics and operations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while demonstrating excellent phone and in person etiquette during all customer interactions.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping receiving, supply chain processes, and freight management is a plus.
• Data entry skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficient.
