Job Opportunity: Physician - Dermatology in Jackson, Michigan

Join a dynamic and collaborative team at a newly renovated medical center in Jackson, Michigan, dedicated to providing a variety of services for men, women, and children. This facility is known for its caring professional staff, ensuring patients feel welcome and relaxed in a state-of-the-art environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open to TRULY Board Eligible candidates within 1 year of graduation (must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation)
• Desired start date: As soon as possible, with 90 days for credentialing
• Outpatient and clinic practice setting
• Assist in reopening the dermatology practice
• Maintain a schedule of Monday through Friday with a minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours and 4 hours of administrative time
• Provide primarily medical dermatology services, with the potential for growth in cosmetic dermatology
• Manage high procedure volume, as approximately 80% of patient visits involve procedures
• Promote a healthy work-life balance within the organization
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system/EMR
• Not open to 1099, Locums, or candidates with lapsed Board Certification(s)
• Welcoming H1B visa candidates, but not accepting J1 visa candidates

Qualifications:

• TRULY Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years of graduation) or Board Certified in Dermatology
• Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Flu vaccine required
• Visa support need (J1 or H1B) noted

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• DEA registration (to be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS license (to be obtained prior to start)
• Clean malpractice history required
• Flu vaccine is mandatory
