Job Description

Salary: $72,150 - 130,425 per year Requirements:

  • I require a BS degree from an accredited school with 4+ years of relevant Configuration Management (CM) or Configuration Analysis (CA) experience.
  • You must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  • I expect you to have detailed knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, or Aras.
  • You should have detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
  • You need to possess knowledge and the ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of the technical domain, along with a broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
  • Familiarity with configuration change management principles and record types is necessary.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent is also a requirement.
  • I expect you to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and customer representatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • You must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD security clearance as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will be responsible for product design changes and assessing their effects on the overall system. Your primary duties will include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorization for data created from internal projects or supplied by the customer. You will work independently on complex projects and provide project support in creating and reviewing contents of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Suppliers Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), item records, change records, and other items within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • You will write and maintain documents such as Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions, and audit forms. Overseeing team members in producing documentation such as Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) reports and data pull outputs will also be part of your role. You will support tasks in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams, and the customer to support products throughout their lifecycle. Additionally, you are expected to work on-site for a minimum of 4+ days a week.

Preferred qualifications include current or previous engineering or design experience, manufacturing engineering experience, or supply chain management experience, particularly with space flight equipment and processes. A working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO or Solidworks, as well as familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems like Windchill or Solidworks PDM Pro, will be an advantage. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software is also preferred.
