We are currently looking to fill our every other weekend position. Saturday hours are 10pm-12pm(on Sunday), Sunday hours are 10pm-6am(On Monday) This is a 22 hrs/pay period position with the option of picking up additional open shifts. Job Summary We are small local company who desires to bring joy, companionship, and a sense of self-worth to the aging population by providing them with the ability to have their needs and wants met. We are seeking a part- time experienced caregiver and are focused on personality above all else. We need someone who is loyal, fun, loving, warm, caring, and loves working with the elderly population to join our team! Responsibilities include companionship, daily living care, medication assistance, lite tech assistance, housekeeping, shopping, and meal preparation. Here at Home Companions our mission is to come alongside people's loved ones to fulfill their everyday needs. Rather than taking their independence away, we enhance their ability to stay at home and continue to do life where they feel most comfortable. Responsibilities - Providing companionship and conversation
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication Assistance
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Educating family members on safe care techniques
Qualifications - Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
