ABOUT US
A Houston, Texas based commercial general contractor specializing in retail and restaurant free-standing buildings with contracts between one and six million dollars is looking for Traveling Superintendents. Most of our work is repeat business from long-term relationships. As we add new clients, we need new project superintendents that will complement our service-oriented philosophy.
THE POSITION: Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent
The project superintendent is a member of the project team that handles the job site management of the project and generally works on one project at a time. The successful candidate will be able-bodied, willing to be on their feet, handle heavy deliveries, climb ladders, etc. It requires a thorough knowledge of the construction process and scheduling as the superintendent is ultimately responsible for the timely delivery of the project. A successful candidate will have strong plan reading skills to help subcontractors interpret the plans as needed and good communication skills to keep the project team informed. Possessing a working knowledge of industry software such as Planswift, Microsoft Project, Plan Grid, and Sage are a plus. This is a full-time permanent position that requires travel throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado. We are willing to train candidates with degrees in construction management, business administration, and engineering or those with associate degrees and have some experience.
COMPENSATION
Wage commensurate with experience ($85-120,000), monthly truck allowance, per diem for projects out of the Houston metroplex, 100% of employ health insurance, HSA matching and PTO.
