About the Role:
Join the Bastrop Central Appraisal District as a Commercial Appraiser, where you will play a vital role in assessing the value of commercial properties in Bastrop, TX. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough property inspections and evaluations for commercial properties.
• Analyze market trends and property sales data to determine accurate property valuations.
• Prepare appraisal reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local government and property owners to resolve valuation disputes.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices in commercial appraisal.
• Utilize appraisal software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual appraisal roll and related documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance, real estate, or a related field preferred.
• Registered Property Appraiser license or Certified General Appraiser license or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property appraisal.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in valuation processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Proficient in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
