About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and mission-driven Co-Head of School for Jewish Life and Learning. This executive leadership role is pivotal in guiding the school's Jewish identity, culture, and educational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Judaic studies, Hebrew language programming, and community-facing initiatives, while also shaping the spiritual and intellectual life of the community. Key responsibilities include providing strategic direction for all Judaic and Hebrew curricula, ensuring they reflect Modern Orthodox values, and fostering a vibrant Jewish atmosphere that unites the school around shared values and traditions. The role demands a leader who can balance strategic vision with relational presence, and who is committed to the holistic education of the whole child, including the development of a strong and sustainable talent pipeline of mission-aligned Judaic faculty. The ideal Co-Head of School will be a creative and forward-thinking leader, deeply committed to Jewish learning and Modern Orthodox values, and skilled in communication and community engagement. They will work collaboratively with the Board, faculty, and staff to achieve the school's goals, including the ambitious AYA Atid Plan, which aims to deliver a 5-star experience for all students, families, and educators. The candidate should have a proven track record in educational leadership, talent development, and a strong ability to drive progress in education, community engagement, enrollment, and fundraising. Uncompromising integrity, sound judgment, and a belief in outstanding service to the school community are essential personal attributes for this role.
