Please be aware that this is an account services role - not a PR position. ​​​​​​To be considered, applicants must have direct project and account management experience at a marketing or advertising agency.

 

Overview: 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is on strategy, on time, and on budget. The Account Executive will work closely with the client, account team, and creative team to support and coordinate projects ranging from brand strategy and campaign execution to website development and digital content, playing a vital role in project management, estimating, scheduling, and budget management.  

Salary Range: 42,000 to 65,000 USD

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and oversee the daily work of assigned accounts, ensuring that all projects are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget. 
  • Contribute to and/or lead weekly status meetings with the team, including updating status reports. 
  • Communicate with immediate supervisor regarding the status of deliverables, creative and production reviews, issues and/or concerns, creative briefs, status reports, and estimates. 
  • Develop and manage project briefs, timelines and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders know key information, milestones and deadlines.  
  • Have a sense of urgency and execute with attention to detail in all client needs-related activities.  
  • Learn the clients and brands inside and out (business overview, product or service lines, locations, and the competitive landscape). 
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advisor for the client, developing strong relationships and providing strategic advice aligned to their business and goals, all in a high-quality and timely manner.  
  • Work closely with the creative, PR, content and production teams to ensure that all projects are executed based on the client's strategic objectives and brand guidelines.  
  • Review all work prior to delivery to the client, including strategic alignment, proofreading, and checking that all client requirements and/or changes have been addressed.  
  • Assist in estimating projects, billing and monitoring the budget accordingly.  
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, sound decision-making, and strong problem-solving capabilities.  
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, including plan development, quotes, file releases and performance monitoring. 
  • Develop client presentations, including planning sessions, creative presentations, and business reviews. 
  • Research industry trends and competitive landscape for clients and projects. 
  • Participate in new business opportunities when available. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in account management at a marketing agency required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field required. 
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.  
  • Experience utilizing a project management program like Asana is desirable. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.  
  • Strong analytical skills, with an interest in diving into research preferred. 
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment. 
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. 
  • Exposure to email marketing and platforms such as HubSpot or ActiveCampaign is a plus.
