Position: Classic Car Detailer
Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet – 5111 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043
Schedule: Full-time – Monday-Friday
Compensation: $18.00–$24.00/hour (Based on knowledge, & experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and passionate  Classic Car Detailer to join our team. This role requires an individual with an eye for detail, a deep appreciation for vintage and collector vehicles, and the skills to perform high-quality detailing services that preserve and enhance the appearance and value of classic automobiles.
Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive detailing services on classic and vintage vehicles, including:
  • Exterior: Hand washing, polishing, waxing, and paint correction.
  • Interior: Deep cleaning of upholstery, carpets, dashboard, and interior trim with appropriate products for vintage materials.
  • Engine bay cleaning and undercarriage care as needed.
• Use specialized techniques and products appropriate for aging paint, chrome, leather, and trim.
• Protect delicate components and original finishes during the detailing process.
• Document vehicle condition and notify Manager of any restoration needs.
• Inspect vehicles pre- and post-detail to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Safely operate classic vehicles when moving in/out of the shop or storage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the detailing bay, tools, and equipment.

• Experienced in automotive detailing— classic car experience is a big plus.
• Passionate about vintage and collector vehicles.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• CDK experience a plus

• This is a  physically demanding position; you will be on your feet and working with your hands throughout your shift and will require movement such as stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, exposure to cleaning products, dust, vibration, and occasional noise.
