About the Role:

Onin Staffing is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our client’s team at a leading construction supply company in Albuquerque. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service to contractors, builders, and DIY customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with purchases in a professional manner
• Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and other transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, and availability
• Collaborate with warehouse and sales staff to ensure smooth customer service
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise when needed
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (construction or hardware supply experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Bilingual- English and Spanish
