Business Development (BD) Solutions Architect

MILITARY FRIENDLY & - SKILLBRIDGE SPONSOR

Zermount Inc. is seeking a motivated Business Development (BD) Solutions Architect to join our Corporate and Business Development (BD) team. This person will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions and will work mainly with our BD in efforts to respond to government cybersecurity as well as IT solicitations. This professional will also work closely with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand, develop and integrate Cyber and IT solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicate between different teams and SMEs to understand Cyber and IT methods then determine the best solution moving forward.
• Determine the best solution when responding to government solicitations and work with our BD team to respond to government proposals.
• Develop a plan for technological strategy architecture implementations.
• Create and lead IT integration systems meeting the requirements of the organization.
• Conduct system architecture evaluation and collaboration with project management and IT development teams to improve IT architecture.
• Own the technical engagement pertaining to specific technical projects providing best practices to develop a deep expertise in solutions.
• Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers and potential clients while working with our BD team.
• Assist our clients in designing and creating solutions that will solve tomorrow's problems.
• Conduct thorough cybersecurity analysis to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies for proposed solutions.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and ensure the successful implementation of cybersecurity solutions.
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve solution offerings.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for cybersecurity solutions, including design specifications, implementation plans, and user guides
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to solution design, implementation, and client satisfaction.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff to enhance their skills and capabilities in cybersecurity solution design and implementation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5-7years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with government contracting and solicitation responses.
• A good understanding of technology and technical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Driven, hardworking, and able to take direction and multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and effectively present to corporate leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized. 

Education

Bachelor preferable but professional experience is Permitted.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT field, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7years of experience or related experience is required.

Certifications and Training (Preferred)

A minimum of at least one of the following security certifications:

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Security+
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• CISSP
• CISM
• CEH
• Other related certification

Work Location

Onsite at Zermount Corporate Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

Hours of Operation

• Business Hours: 8:00 am EST - 6:00 pm EST.
