Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Lab Technician position at a medical device company in Houston TX. The overall responsibility of this position is to execute standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for manufacturing and support research and development (R&D) projects.

\n Responsibilities:
\n \n

\n\t
• Execute SOP’s to perform detailed manufacturing tasks independently and in a timely manner\n\t
• Perform complex molecular-based protocols with a high degree of quality\n\t
• Execute routine quality control inspections according to procedure \n\t
• Accurately record production and test records according to good documentation practices\n\t
• Analyze results, provide feedback, and report failures and deviations from processes\n\t
• Participate in quality investigations to resolve process and product issues\n\t
• Perform routine lab equipment maintenance and assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions\n\t
• Provide support on projects such as product, process, and test method development \n\t
• Work with R&D to resolve failures and make improvements\n\t
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize production inventory and laboratory supplies\n\t
• Comply with all standard operating procedures, quality assurance, safety, and regulatory procedures \n

\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is required\n\t
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory/manufacturing experience\n

\n\n

\n\t
• Aseptic processing experience with good manufacturing practices is preferred\n\t
• Ability to follow procedures and protocols with a high attention to detail\n\t
• Experience in laboratory methods/techniques associated with molecular biology\n\t
• Excellent team collaboration, communication and documentation skills\n\t
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power Point\n

\nThis is a long term (~12 months) assignment with the potential to be hired based on individual performance and business needs. The work schedule is Monday-Friday day shift.
