PBG is partnering with a boutique firm focused on intellectual property(trademark and copyright), technology law, and privacy. The firm also has a unique niche in adventure travel law. The firm represents a range of clients including those in technology, augmented reality, video game, online gaming, financial, and adventure travel industries—ranging from innovative startups to established global businesses.
This is a women-owned firm looking for highly-motivated, detail-oriented attorney who is committed to growing with the firm for the long term—not someone seeking a short-term or transitional role.
The associate will:
1) conduct legal research and draft memoranda involving emerging technologies, including privacy;
2) support the firm’s day-to-day work, including trademark prosecution and IP enforcement matters; and
3) draft and review contracts and advise on risk management issues.
This is a hands-on role with meaningful responsibility from the outset. The associate will have direct client contact early on and will have opportunities to work with in-house counsel on privacy-related and legal compliance questions, particularly where they intersect with technology. The associate will also contribute to the firm’s marketing efforts, including writing content for the firm’s newsletter, blog, and social media.
