Volt is immediately hiring an Assembly Technician in Kirkland, WA!
As an Assembly Technician you will be:
Overview:
Seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, rework, and repair of radar electronic devices and subsystems. This role collaborates closely with engineering and production teams to meet manufacturing and development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and repair radar systems and circuit board assemblies.
- Perform tuning, diagnostics, and rework of electronic components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to ESD and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills & Experience: - Hands-on experience with delicate electronic assembly and testing.
- Familiarity with ESD protocols and safe handling practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Capable of lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components.
- IPC soldering certification and strong soldering/rework skills.
- 2+ years in electronics manufacturing or testing.
- Associate degree or formal electronics training (trade school preferred).
This is a fulltime, Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday -Thursday: 1PM-9:30PM and potential weekend 12 hour shifts Fri-Sunday (36 hrs + 4 comped)
Location: Kirkland, WA
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay Range: $24.47 - $36.68 an hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
