We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assembly Process Manager to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings, with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and assembly lines.

The Assembly Process Manager manages all Assembly employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Assembly Process Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

· Strategically plan, organize, and manage a department with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety.

· Responsible for department costs to budget through effective manpower planning, scheduling and overtime usage.

· Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards,

· Ensure on-time and accurate production

· Investigate customer quality issues, develop and implement corrective actions

· Maintain an ongoing, positive and pro-active relationship with all internal and external customers

· Participate in the daily operations briefing

· Initiate and control continuous optimization of processes

· Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed

· Guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees

· Make the company’s values and management principles live in the department(s)

· Plan / Implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations

· Participate and support company sponsored initiatives, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety

Assembly Process Manager Required Skills:

· Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

· In addition, three to five years of directly related experience required in a management role

· Strong presentation, communication, training and interpersonal skills

· Experience in applying manufacturing principles: 5S, 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing

· Excellent analytical and conceptual skills

· Demonstrable record of understanding and meeting customer expectations

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer application
