Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge products in a reputable company within the boating industry. This role involves assembling various mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor using hand and power tools, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Work within individual stand-up workstations utilizing hand and power tools to assemble mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor.
• Assemble components such as metal poles, nuts, bolts, and pressure hoses.
• Manually lift pallets or workstations for assembly line operations.
• Operate pneumatic drills, screwdrivers, staple guns, and presses, as well as hand tools like screwdrivers and hammers.
• Use computers and machines for testing units.
• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Inspect and measure machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Count and assemble kits for other components.
• Wrap and box components.
• Clean machined parts and equipment.
• Tend to machines and equipment other than machine tools.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience with assembly (mechanical or electrical).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and understand basic blueprints.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
• Understanding of safety within manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and cross-train.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly line work.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TAMPA, Florida

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
