About the job Assembler


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our team in a manufacturing setting. This role involves performing manual assembly tasks to meet strict customer requirements. Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, making this a potential entry-level opportunity.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform manual assembly tasks, including inserting, working with adhesives, and part marking, of various thermoplastic and thermoset parts.
  • Operate semi-automated tools such as engraver units, pneumatic crimping tools, potting compound preparation and assembly, and hydraulic presses.
  • Set up new jobs with minimal supervision, aiming for minimal scrap or fallout.
  • Assist in identifying quality issues within the cell.
  • Measure using calipers, micrometers, height stands, CMM, etc.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Cell Lead.
  • Complete all paperwork correctly, legibly, and honestly.
  • Maintain workspace before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Contribute toward continuous improvement processes and projects in the areas of output, quality, cost, and delivery.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Computer and math skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in above ambient temperatures.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high attendance standards.
Pay:
  • $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Experience Level:
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, not required.
