Toyota's Corporate Security & Emergency Management (CSEM) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst Corporate Security & Emergency Management Operations.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide operational support and coordination for physical security and emergency management programs across multiple regional sites.

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Security & Emergency Management Operations, the person in this role will support the Corporate Security & Emergency Management department's objective to safeguard people, property, and brand by ensuring consistent execution of security and emergency management standards and effective vendor and site-level coordination.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide daily operational guidance to key onsite security and fire system services vendors at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama TMMAL. As needed, provide operational guidance to key onsite security and fire system services vendors at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Tennessee TMMTN and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri TMMMO.
  • Support and coordinate with strategic CSEM team members on incident investigation requests, severe weather response, site vulnerability assessments, and other emergency management activities.
  • Coordinate and implement emergency preparedness training programs, ensuring content is consistent, current, and tailored to risk profiles by site.
  • Enhance emergency communications and decision-making frameworks, supporting coordinated and timely response during critical events.
  • Manage physical security systems and provide local project management support for assigned projects throughout the region's portfolio, including new construction, expansion projects, and maintenance.
  • Execute special projects to support local and remote sites in conjunction with other CSEM members.
  • Implement and maintain regional security and emergency management standards provided by management.
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with multiple levels of management throughout the region.
  • Assess operational issues and engage other groups outside CSEM when necessary to resolve problems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and supporting agencies for assigned sites.
  • Be on-call to address urgent security and emergency management issues for responsible sites.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security, Loss Prevention, Police/Fire Science, Safety, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarm systems) and emergency management procedures, including response plans, evacuation, and sheltering, with an understanding of industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of staffing plans, work instruction sheets, and post orders to develop and enforce site-specific standard operating procedures.
  • Experience overseeing vendors delivering diverse security and emergency management services across multiple companies or locations to meet customer expectations consistently.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to assess and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve goals and targets set by management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence, persuade, and present concepts and recommendations clearly to executive management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to support site visits, training, and incident response activities.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Knowledge of physical security and emergency management systems commonly used in our environment (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, Perspective).
  • Familiarity with Toyota's operational methodologies, including the Toyota Way, A3 Report writing, ringi, and nemawashi.
  • Familiarity with the geographic regions which include Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Tennessee and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri.
