Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a confident, independent Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a primary care practice in the Bronx, NY. This role involves managing patient encounters autonomously, providing comprehensive care to diverse populations, and collaborating with healthcare teams to improve community health outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active New York State NP license.
  • Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care or family medicine. Must be confident with managing encounters and rather independent.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic testing and chronic disease management.
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, empathy, cultural competency, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams, record medical histories, and develop individualized care plans.
• Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging).
• Prescribe medications and therapies, monitoring patient responses.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and social workers for holistic care.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment in compliance with safety standards.
