Job Summary: This role provides essential office support by implementing and maintaining administrative systems, procedures, and policies while overseeing various administrative projects. The position ensures smooth and efficient front office operations, including supply management, and serves the needs of staff, healthcare providers, and patients.
Essential Responsibilities: Perform all typing and copying tasks for the department, including creating forms, maintaining menu systems, and preparing reports, minutes, and communications for physicians and hospital staff. Complete all word processing and correspondence promptly and accurately. Ensure requested correspondence is completed by deadlines unless otherwise directed by management. Manage phone systems by answering calls, retrieving voicemails, and initiating contact or paging for physicians and internal associates. Provide phone coverage during absences to maintain continuous communication. Maintain accurate filing and copying of patient and non-patient related documents and correspondence. Offer constructive feedback to improve front office efficiency and effectiveness.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous coursework or experience in administrative and receptionist duties is preferred, including typing, computer skills related to word processing and spreadsheets, and strong communication abilities.
Work Shift: First shift, full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
