Overview

The Accounting Clerk will provide essential accounting and administrative support on a weekly and monthly basis, while also assisting with specific accounting projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently, maintain accuracy, and manage sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan and electronically file all customer invoices.
• Scan and upload accounts payable documentation to shared drive.
• Perform mailroom duties, including checking, distributing, and opening company mail.
• Enter journal entries into spend management software (Ramp) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Clear and reconcile outstanding bank statements.
• Assist team in ERP upgrade, including data clean-up of Terms, Customer Addresses, Vendor information, Inventory GL cards.
• Other accounting-related records as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma.
• Experience in an office setting a plus.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Temporary, part-time role (appx 5 hours per week) through estimated February 2026.
• Flexible scheduling available to accommodate needs.
• Office environment: occasional lifting of files, boxes, or mail may be required.
