Weʼre hunting for a versatile Game 3D Generalist who can model, texture, rig, and animate assets that pop off the screen—especially stylized or anime-inspired characters. Youʼll partner with designers, engineers, and 2D artists to build striking worlds and expressive characters for our next projects. Key Responsibilities Model, texture, rig, and animate high-quality 3D assets—characters, environments, props, and VFX—optimized for real-time performance. Own the end-to-end 3D art pipeline, ensuring consistent style and technical standards across the project. Collaborate with gameplay and narrative teams to prototype and iterate on visual ideas that reinforce mechanics and storytelling. Create clean, efficient topology and UVs suitable for multiple platforms (PC, mobile, console). Work closely with tech artists to integrate assets into Unity, troubleshoot issues, and maintain performance budgets. Contribute to marketing needs—short character loops, key-art renders, or in-engine cinematics—as required. Must-Haves 3+years of professional 3D game-art production. Proven chops in stylized or anime aesthetics—especially character animation. Portfolio showing the full 3D pipeline: modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation (both body and facial). Expert knowledge of industry-standard 3D tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3dsMax, ZBrush, SubstancePainter/Designer or equivalent software). Solid grasp of real-time asset optimization: poly count, LODs, texture compression, PBR workflows. Solid grasp of Unityʼs character-animation pipeline—including essentials like root motion, rig import/retargeting, and clip integration. Experience animating in Unity (Animator, Timeline, Mecanim). Basic understanding of shaders, lighting, and VFX for stylized visuals. Excellent communication, self-management, and cross-discipline collaboration skills. Nice-to-Haves Familiarity with Unityʼs URP/HDRP pipelines and shader graph. Experience with cloth/hair simulation or stylized VFX. Experience solving technical problems about character animation.
